Directions to Camp Moriah
(see maps below)
Come to the junction of Hwy 15 and Hwy 72 in Walnut, MS about 20 miles west of Corinth, MS. This junction will have a traffic light there. From there you will travel 3.3 miles west on Hwy 72. You will see a sign for “Three Forks.” Turn R on County Road (CR) 101. Go straight on CR 101. Go 1.2 miles and take the second right (first paved road to the right). There will be a sign for “Oakland Baptist Church” and there will also be a water tower on the left. Follow this curvy road and stay on the asphalt roads. At 3.4 miles, watch for a 90 degree turn–it is necessary to slow down. At 4 miles, you will be crossing a bridge and then coming up a hill. Turn R at the top of the hill onto Cutbirth Rd. You will travel 1.1 miles and come to a fork. Take the R fork (gravel road), and you will see the Camp Moriah sign in less than 1/2 mile. Turn R and go slowly down the hill, and you will be there.
For those more “adventurous” types, and those who are driving vehicles with adequate clearance, there is a shorter way to Camp. BUT, you do not need to take this route if there has been much rain because the roads will have a few ruts and be muddy.
